more fun in the water

we had 90-degree temperatures today so mommy and daddy thought it would be great opportunity to pack a lunch and take me to the large community pool. i had a blast splashing in the zero-entry swimming pool and trying out my new float.

there's no "p" in my "pool"...at least that's what mommy and daddy hope. i got my very own baby pool yesterday for those times when mommy and daddy don't want to walk over to the large community pool. mommy also found out that it's a good way to keep me busy when she needs to do some yard work. i'm discovering that i love being in the water as much as i love drinking it.

mommy and daddy heard a strange sound while they were cleaning up after dinner tonight. when they looked over, they saw me doing some rearranging. they thought it was hilarious. i guess once a boy figures out how to push a walker, he moves on to bigger things.

mommy, daddy and i all went to the denver botanic gardens today. we saw lots of neat flowers and even made it over to the mordecai children's garden before we left. the children's garden has lots of baby plants, fun playground-type areas and neat paths to walk on. i can't wait until i'm old enough to run around the place.

...well actually i'm 10 months and 10 days today. since we were in florida last week, mommy and daddy didn't get to take my picture in time for the post. they also couldn't decide on what picture they liked, which is why you see two.
