arnaud balat, zoe's daddy, is a master with the camera. he was kind enough to take pictures for us at my first official playdate with zoe and we were so excited to see the photos on their facebook page. thank you arnaud, you are a talented man and both my mommy and daddy are so thankful for your pictures.

mommy and daddy discovered that my first tooth has come through. i have cried a lot the last few nights and this morning, everyone knew why. unfortunately, i won't stay still long enough for mommy and daddy to get a picture of it.

i was so excited to celebrate my first chirstmas. grammie has made all the family stockings, but with two new grandkids this year, she hasn't had a chance. so i got to use the stocking used by mo and daddy their first year in the family. i had so much fun! i got lots of great stuff. i'm looking forward to playing...and wearing...all the gifts. thanks to all my family and friends who gave me gifts on my first christmas. i love you all.

today we went to christmas eve communion, to look at christmas lights and then came home to open a present from lula, mo and my cousins. mommy and daddy were told by lula that i had to open it on christmas eve. thanks nashville gang, i love and miss you all. hopefully i can spend next christmas with you.

my friend zoe

i have read her blog and heard so much about her. today i finally got to meet zoe in person. zoe is the daughter of mommy's life long friend charlotte (a.k.a charlotte, carey, whatever). zoe is so cute. i did everything i could to impress her. she's half french, which multiplies her cuteness. i'll definitely be keeping in touch with her.

happy 5 month birthday!

i'm not as cooperative as i once was with my monthly birthday pictures. i am now fascinated with the sign and have this strong need to grab it. mommy and daddy are going to hold off on our fun activity until this weekend when they take me to look at christmas lights around our neighborhood.

while mommy worked at home today, i hung out for a while on the floor with all my toys. then mommy decided that maybe it was time for me to watch my first video. she set me up in my chair and started the video on the laptop. i think i'm gonna like this!
