elmo and cars

two of the things i enjoy are elmo and the cars movie, especially the music. i love the scene in cars when the street cars blast their music. don't worry though, mommy and daddy don't let me watch much tv. i'm sure my grandparents would be worried if that were the case. but when i do get to watch tv, elmo and cars are two of my favorites. as you can tell, i watch each differently.

drinkin' it in

today mommy had a doctor appointment so I got to go to eliana's house to play. it was warm outside so mrs. beth set up the sprinkler ball for us to play with. we had more fun drinking the water than playing in it.

i got a pair of sunglasses at my buddy ryker's birthday party and it's one of the only pairs that i will actually wear. so mommy had to snap a shot with her phone on our way to church.

happy daddy's day!

over the weekend, i got to celebrate daddy's day with mommy and some friends. on saturday, i went to my second swim lesson, but this time with daddy in the water. then we went to chatfield state park, had a picnic, and played in the water with some friends. on sunday, i made daddy a sign at sunday school and gave it to him when we got home. happy daddy's day daddy, i love you!

i was able to wait in line for the slide without mommy or daddy. my first taste of independence. of course it's always easier when mommy is waiting at the end of the slide to catch me.

mommy, daddy and i went putt-putt golfing with mommy's cousin kristi and her husband josh. kristi and josh were nice enough to let me interfere with their games. i helped everyone make a few hole in ones by picking up the ball and dropping it in the hole for them.

my first swim class

today mommy and daddy took me to my first swim class. i had so much fun splashing and swimming. they even had a large slide in the shape of a tiger and i enjoyed sliding right out of the tigers mouth. the hardest part was having to wait in line. i can't wait for next week when daddy gets in the water with me.

my weekend with gampa and grammie

gampa and grammie came to visit over the weekend and we had lots of fun going to a community-wide garage sale, eating frozen yogurt and smores, venturing out to tiny town and playing outside. even though they helped mommy and daddy with a few household and yard chores, they always made time to play with me. thanks gampa and grammie, i had lots of fun. i love you and miss you already!

my visit to tiny town - the buildings

it was so fun to go through tiny town and see all the buildings. many of them even had openings that let me go inside the buildings. i especially liked all the buildings with cars and motorcycles.
