tonight i got to spend some time with eliana while her mommy and daddy went out on a date. we ate, played and looked at books. we even wrestled with mommy. i have so much fun with eliana and the best part is that she lives right across the street. we've become great friends.

my second balloon fiesta

on saturday, i got to go to my second albuquerque international balloon fiesta with mommy, daddy, grammie, gampa and greats. it was the balloon fiesta's 40th anniversary. this one was more fun for me since i was able to run around and i got to see the balloons up close. it was so neat to watch them inflate and take off from the field. they seem to soar in the air forever. they even set a record that day for the most hot-air balloons to take off in one hour, 345. it was an amazing thing to see. i had so much fun.

today i went to little monkey bizness with mommy and gampa. although i had fun, i did fall and get an owie under my eye. i like to consider it my first battle wound.

i got to meet my great grandpa cecil (grammie's daddy) this weekend, and even got to be part of the baptism that gampa performed for him. he's a funny man and i'm glad i finally got a chance to meet him. hopefully we'll see him again soon!

my first baseball game

today i went to my first major league baseball game with mommy, daddy and gampa. i got to experience the game, take a few bites of a rocky dog and cheer on the colorado rockies.

gampa's retirement

a few weeks ago we went to albuquerque to celebrate my gampa's retirement from hcpc. we surprised him on friday, and then lula and my three oldest cousins surprised him on saturday. we were all so glad to be there for him on the day of his retirement. we love you, gampa!

a day in the park

today i went to washington park in denver for some professional photos by adam and eve photography (mommy had a groupon!). afterwards, daddy took some photos since the professional ones won't be ready for a few weeks. the park was so much fun and the weather was great. although there were flowers everywhere, i spent most of my time playing in the dirt and mommy spent most of her time trying to keep me out of it.
