playing in the snow

we got our first major snow of the year today and i had so much fun playing in it. i held my first snowball, but preferred to taste it rather than throw it. after we all went back inside, mommy put me in warm, comfy clothes and gave me my first taste of hot chocolate. yummy!

my visit to anderson farms

today mommy, daddy and i went to anderson farms with my good friend ryker and his parents. we got to do a lot of fun things while we were there and ended up staying longer than we thought we would. good weather, fun activities and great friends, it was an amazing day.

mommy has been having fun knitting and has started knitting me some hats for the winter.

we got our washington park photos back from adam & eve photography today so we thought we would share a few of them with you.

welcome to my first playhouse

since the weather here in colorado is getting colder, mommy and daddy decided to get me something fun to play with inside for those cold, snowy colorado days. i have my very own planter boxes, kitchen, phone, work bench (complete with tools), mailbox, fence (that i can take apart with my tools) and front door. daddy is going to put christmas lights on it for the holidays. now if i can just convince mommy and daddy that i need a bbq grill to go with it.

tonight i got to spend some time with eliana while her mommy and daddy went out on a date. we ate, played and looked at books. we even wrestled with mommy. i have so much fun with eliana and the best part is that she lives right across the street. we've become great friends.

my second balloon fiesta

on saturday, i got to go to my second albuquerque international balloon fiesta with mommy, daddy, grammie, gampa and greats. it was the balloon fiesta's 40th anniversary. this one was more fun for me since i was able to run around and i got to see the balloons up close. it was so neat to watch them inflate and take off from the field. they seem to soar in the air forever. they even set a record that day for the most hot-air balloons to take off in one hour, 345. it was an amazing thing to see. i had so much fun.
